Notes From Stake Conference

These are some notes I took from Elder Christofferson's talk at Stake Conference. Most of his talk focused on missionary work, but there are a few notes of things he said toward the end as well. Sorry, they're a bit disjointed, but I wanted to share anyway! -Jodi R.
  • It is our privilege to share the gospel, a fundamental duty and privilege that all of us have. "Go ye therefore and teach all nations..."
  • We must be examples to the Church (of forbearance, of controlling our tempers, etc.). You are a light--people should be able to see something of the Savior in each of us. "Be thou examples..."
  • There are too many daughters with no dates and too many young men who postpone marriage for careers, etc. There is nothing that has the same significance as marriage and family. Don't leave to the side what ought to be the center.
  • "Bless us with faith to endure some things and with faith to change some things."
  • If you really desire it, He will communicate with you. Your tears are precious to Him. You are precious to Him.
If anyone else has notes or thoughts to share about Stake Conference, please email them to 33reliefsociety@gmail.com. Thanks!
